A PCP is the health practitioner you’ll see for most of your health needs. They are your first point of contact when you need care or advice. (For life-threatening or other serious emergencies, always seek Urgent or Emergency care.)

What does Curative Primary Care offer?

Curative Primary Care provides comprehensive healthcare services tailored to your needs, including annual check-ups, routine screenings, vaccinations, chronic disease management, acute illness care, mental health services, women's and men's health services, medication management, referrals to specialists, nutritional counseling, and lifestyle and wellness coaching referrals. Convenient virtual and in-person appointments are available from licensed clinicians. (In-person appointments are only available in Austin at this time.)

How is Curative Primary Care different from virtual urgent care?

Primary care providers focus on routine health maintenance such as screenings for cancer, vaccinations, and guidance on staying healthy. They can also manage chronic conditions (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or asthma).

Patients experiencing a medical emergency should call 911 (or the local emergency number) immediately.

Are there any fees associated with seeing a Curative Primary Care physician?

Curative Primary Care is in-network for the Curative Health Plan. If you have completed your Baseline Visit within 120 days of your plan start date, you will have $0 copay, $0 deductibles, and $0 for preferred prescriptions.

Our practice is not ideal for someone requiring a prescription of controlled substances.

Texas members can see their Curative Primary Care physician, subject to their availability, in person at our clinic in the heart of downtown Austin. Call 512-881-2515 to schedule an appointment.There is no in-person option for members in the remainder of Texas and Florida.

You have the freedom to select any primary care physician you prefer. However, remaining within the network enhances the utilization of your benefits. Curative Primary Care is fully in-network and fully equipped to fulfill your primary care requirements or complement your current healthcare team.
