The Curative Cash Card functions like a direct-payment card with no balance owed by the member. When a Curative member presents the card to any in-network provider, your practice receives real-time upfront payment at the cash price. No waiting weeks for reimbursement. The Cash Card can be used for:
Office visits
Behavioral health
Some inpatient hospital services
Urgent care
Outpatient hospital services (like procedures and imaging)
For labs and prescriptions, members use their standard Curative Member ID instead because those services run through traditional claims pathways and contracted networks. The dual-system approach helps members access the right care at the right time while giving providers a payment flow that fits the way you want to work.

Do I need to collect payment from Curative members?
No. Members are never responsible for payment. Curative pays you directly.
How do I know what rate I’m being paid?
Curative pays providers their standard posted cash rate for services. This is the same walk-in rate offered to any patient, regardless of insurance status. Providers are paid in full upfront.
What if my staff doesn’t recognize the Cash Card?
Please train front desk staff to treat it as a payment card. If questions arise, call Curative Provider Services at 855-414-1083. We’ll walk your team through it.
Do I still submit a claim if the member uses a Cash Card?
No, providers do not need to submit a claim if the Curative Cash Card is used for payment.
What should I do if the Cash Card is declined?

Can I keep the Cash Card on file for future billing?
Providers cannot keep the Curative Cash Card on file for additional services. A member will need to call members services and obtain approval before the card is charged.
Can I accept the Curative Cash Card even if we are directly contracted with Curative?
