Curative Will Provide In-House Benefits, Including Claims Processing, Utilization Review, Case, and Disease Management Services for Its Newly Launched Health Insurance PPO
AUSTIN, TX — December 21, 2022 — Curative, a leading healthcare delivery company, today announced the name change of MediView, an Austin-established full spectrum Third Party Administrator which includes claims processing medical management services, and complex reporting. MediView was previously acquired by Curative in December of 2021 from Covenant Management Systems, in anticipation of the launch of its new employer-based fully licensed health insurance PPO. Curative will rename the entity Curative Administrators, fully integrating the acquisition. Curative Administrators will continue to serve MediView’s existing clients.

The MediView acquisition brought talented staff to Curative with extensive experience in administering health plans. Since the acquisition, Curative has provided additional technology support and upgraded the platform. Curative Insurance Company will now have the advantage of processing claims internally, allowing for greater accuracy and efficiency in paying providers for their services.
Curative Insurance Company recently launched a new health plan offering eligible members $0 copays and $0 deductibles for in-network care, encouraging proactive engagement by eliminating financial barriers to care. Curative’s insurance plan is currently available in the Austin area, with network coverage across the United States, and will soon be offered throughout the rest of Texas and across the country.
