This Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, Curative is honored to spotlight our AANHPI staff members who are leading the charge to make healthcare more accessible and equitable across the country.
AANHPI Heritage Month is observed annually in May to celebrate the contributions that generations of AANHPIs have made to American history, society, and culture. This year’s theme is “Advancing Leaders Through Collaboration”, which encourages collaboration, diversity, transparency, and inclusion across industries, particularly in the private sector.
We asked some of our AANHPI leaders: What does healthcare leadership look like to you? Here’s what they said:
We believe our patients should see themselves in our healthcare staff. By diverse recruiting throughout all aspects of the healthcare experience, from building the software to book appointments to the team accessioning tests, we want to ensure that our company represents the diverse communities that we serve.
In line with the need for healthcare to be representative of diverse populations, it is also inherently personal, and we believe that the healthcare experience should emulate that. By prioritizing the patient experience throughout every touchpoint, we want people to feel heard and understood by Curative.
As we work to create a better healthcare future for everyone, it will require both leadership and partnership, which makes the tenets of AANHPI Heritage Month so important for us. We’re excited to better meet the healthcare needs of the AANHPI community and communities all across the nation. Thank you to all of our AANHPI team members for their hard work, dedication, and leadership.
Curative has zero tolerance for any discrimination and will continue to focus on increasing healthcare access for the most vulnerable among us.
