Availity Essentials
Curative leverages the Availity Essentials platform to streamline provider interactions and enhance administrative efficiency.
The following services are currently supported through the Availity portal:
1. Eligibility and benefits verification
Real-time eligibility lookup for Curative members (Same name as employer provided)
View covered services, co-payments, coinsurance, and deductibles
Check plan-specific coverage and benefit limitations
2. Claims submission
Submit professional and institutional (UB-04/HCFA) claims electronically
Upload supporting attachments when required (medical records, invoices)
Submit corrected claims with proper indicators
3. Claims status inquiry
Track claim receipt and processing progress
View payment details, denial reasons, and status codes
Export remittance advice summaries for reconciliation
Must be the exact DOS.
4. Remittance advice (ERA) access
View and download Electronic Remittance Advices (835 files)
Reconcile payments with claim adjudication outcomes
Need to be enrolled to be able to obtain this access.
5. Training and education (Essentials on Availity)
Access Curative-specific payer spaces for downloadable training guides and reference materials
Register for live and on-demand webinars
Provider access requirements
Providers must be registered on availity.com
Tax ID (TIN) and NPI are required for access to Curative’s payer space
Office managers can delegate access to appropriate staff members within their group
